I've known the POW-MIA flag thing is bullshit for years now, but to still see it up there on flagpoles and construction sites in 2024. I may make it my life's work to destroy every last one.

It’s funny watching a game on mute. Trying to figure out why they keep showing shots of the flagpoles, lol. Sad it’s the last game of the season and the season didn’t turn out great despite some great performances. Annoyed at the way the owners treated Votto and Bell too #Reds ⚾️

I grew up with my grandfather--career army--among a lot of fellows veterans, many who had flagpoles. They took brought their flags in every night, at risk of rain, etc. Where I live now, a lot of flagpoles, some are cops, and their flags stay up 24/7, rain or shine. Those vets would be furious.

I'm amused by wondering what official building that is in the background (considering the flagpoles). It kinda looks like a post office.

Yeah, they really mattered on January 6th when they shoved bear spray and flagpoles down their throats.

I completed The Final Test in Mario Wonder and I was happy to finish it up there. Had an absolute blast with it, easily my favourite 2D Mario game! I might revisit it at some point and get all those purple coins and flagpoles I missed.
