Iara que fiz para a coletânea FolkLore da Editora Alarde, e gosto justamente pq me pediram para não mostrar a iara completa, apenas sua cauda. Deu um ar maior de mistério. #Art#digitalart#FolkloreThursday#fantasy#folclore#illustration#mermaid#horror#darkfantasy#photoshop#desenho

🧙‍♂️🧵 2a/ Let’s begin! This week’s theme (Week 84) is “Translation/Light”. Please use the following tags when you join in: #TolkienTrewsday#TolkienTuesday#Tolkien#Tolkientober#Tolkientober2024. You can tweet art, quotes, thoughts, blogs, academic work, reading recommendations, etc. 🗨️

Trewsday is the Hobbit name for Tuesday! Tolkien Trewsday is a community event across several online spaces: Twitter, BlueSky and now the Tolkien Society Facebook group.
Each week we form a fellowship to collectively post about a pre-selected theme about Tolkien (his works and his life) as well as adaptions, academic writing and creative stuff such as fanfic, fanart and cosplay.
Themes are selected by myself (the organiser) and also via polls or guest hosts/curators. Together we will build a collective outpouring of creativity, knowledge and love for J.R.R. Tolkien.
The inspiration for this comes from the highly successful #FolkloreThursday which engaged lovers of Folklore, academics, artists and more to share their love of folklore.
We only ask that if you are joining in, please do so with courtesy and kindness in your posts/tweets. This is a positive-action community event, open to all and supportive of fan diversity. Intolerance, racism, bigotry have no place here. Thank you!
