I think baldurs gate has leap frogged to like one my fave games ever. poor childhood games never had a chance
I’m trying to crochet a witch/wizard hat and the brim was very rippled my first go (too many increases) so I frogged the brim, found a different pattern, did some math, and now the brim is super curled (not enough increases). I am frustrated. also: I am not good at math
oh nothing just getting emotional over yarn. thought this was some of my Brew City yarn - it's very precious obvs - but this is Knitcircus. She has been made 2 (3?) other projects and frogged & I think this one will stick. She needs a block tho
I used to always have a pair of socks and a shawl on the needles. Arthritis has slowed me way down. Right now I have a shawl and a cowl on the needles and a shawl that I think needs to be frogged again.
I tend to have startitis at lot, and I give in to it. I don't believe I have to finish everything I start, and many starts get frogged and start a new life as a different project. I also cannot just wait - in line at the grocer, at a restaurant, anywhere - so I always have a project or 2 with me.
Yesterday I started a raglan sweater with the chuncy alpaca yarn from my first big project that I frogged. Knitting with chunky yarn is so quick 😳 Might redo this though because I am not happy with the increases, the ones I used are creating small holes on one side of the raglan lines.
Just frogged a sweater I was 9 hrs into after realising the size was very wrong. The moral of the story, “ always do the gauge swatch when crocheting wearables! “ Oops 🧶
