Took me until 2024, but GenCon did it.

Anyway I will keep making complaints about the paschal troparion that my church keeps setting to a Hasidic folk song until they stop I do not care that they did it in San Francisco. I don't care if GenCon makes it part of the BCP. It's gross. We should stop.

Maybe not the best but this is up there: GenCon and there’s a showing of Search for Spock. Opening credits are rolling and the camera pans over to the photon torpedo that was Spock’s coffin. @sample-text.bsky.social yells “Found him!” and the entire audience busted up.

Getting all of my vax boosters ahead of GameHoleCon. Pneumonia a couple weeks ago (first ever, clobbered me good,) Covid yesterday (mild so far) and Flu next week. I'll be masking, etc, while I'm there. I managed to make it through GenCon without catching anything, fingers crossed I can do it again

I feel that. That’s my every GenCon game, trying to wrap act III with a satisfying climax in the final 15 minutes of the time slot.

Best I can guess is 84 or 85. We were going to the Wisconsin Dells for summer vacation (10+ hr drive) and we went based on GenCon dates. The miniature wars blew. my. mind.

Going to GenCon in the 80s is cool AF

Whoa! I thought me buying an early Basic set and convincing my parents to take me to GenCon in the 80’s was cool. This is incredible!
