Pilot Quest might be the only game I know whose core loop steadily shifts from one genre to an entirely different one as you play through it. The strangest way I've ever seen a hybridization of genres done. Just a constant gradient over its runtime.
Ohhh very cool!! I never thought about those two genres being combined until now!! Awesome job, man~~
so yes, i'm absolutely behind being skeptical about SFF authors, and indeed most authors in all genres, i don't think it's right to write off an entire genre of stories. honestly i think SFF is maybe the best genre to explore trans stories, it's just getting them out into the world.
In no C&W fan, but Kris was one of those musicians that sliced right through genres because he was just...better.
Oh, damn, this one hits hard. RIP Kris, a man that taught me that this country stuff my mum listened to was worth getting into after all. Probably one of the most underrated lyricists of modern music. www.youtube.com/watch?v=fMVU...

this is what happens when one of your favorite genres is military sci-fi like Legend of the Galactic Heroes, Babylon 5, FreeSpace, and 86
Yeah, cause I like a MULTIDUDE of music genres. I'm also mostly into Pop, EDM, and Rock.
If we're talking about trans SFFH, there are hundreds of trans writers here, many of whom are doing great things in the genres, and also me
Art vs Artist or more like Gamedev vs Games? We made and published a lot of games over the years, more than will fit here, but these are the ones we made "in house". This sheet was made with the newest #PEBIspielmannspiel.com#artVsArtist#gamedevVsGames#art#gamedev#indiedev
Its often less bout outright genre-defining innovation amd moreso about small twists within sub-genres or even series that have large, cascading gameplay implications
I know they exist and largely in related & sub genres nowadays, but we need more Kristoffersons, Willies, and Johnny Cashes in country music nowadays.
