I wish them luck in gerrymandering physics.

Wonder if those were the same Ds who stood by, in a spirit of bipartisan camaraderie, to let GOP-advantage gerrymandering happen because it was done in a way that kept their own particular seat secure while damaging their party's position at the state & national level. That went on for decades.

Like everyone else I ask, "Why is this so close? After everything we've been through?" I have stock answers: misogyny, racism, bigotry, economy, foreign conflicts, alienation, despair, a failed duopoly, gerrymandering, etc. Nothing satisfies.

NYT graphs showing the narrowness of electoral college vote totals for Harris and Trump, reflecting opinion polls conducted recently. Harris has a narrow lead among swing states and a narrow margin of victory overall. If the polls are wrong or change, Trump has a good chance to win.

Well, he's right on that. It's rigged. But mostly by the GOP, with their gerrymandering schemes. If you can become president in 2016 with 3 million votes less than your opponent, it was quite clearly rigged; and it's even worse now.

Florida was a prototype for gerrymandering and voting purges, and early and mail in voting for the GOP. They broke the state maps back in 2000 and were doing voting purges in advance of that, which is one reason 2000 was close enough to steal. They also really built huge VbM and Early Vote turnout

If we end gerrymandering in Ohio... if that issue passes, you will see ALOT of changes here. That's why the repugnantcans put out misinformation on it. They really have little to no respect for their own voters. They think they're stupid and they can easily dupe them.. Sadly they're correct.

We’re going to lose four Congressional seats because of gerrymandering, but I think demographics are catching up with the gerrymandering. They will soon reach the point where they can’t draw a red state house district in Wake or Mecklenburg.

Also, Ohio’s Republican Secretary of State added misleading language to the current ballot initiative to give the appearance that it is actually pro-gerrymandering.

Can someone tell me why it is legal for R states to wrongly purge voter rolls & restrict voting? Between that, gerrymandering & the Electoral College, Ds are constantly left with a playing field that is not level. Is this what passes as democracy?
