#LateNightWrite Here in New Mexico, our local myth is La Llorona, the weeping woman who haunts the arroyos (dry creeks) searching for her lost children. She’ll snatch any she finds! There’s also Zozobra: Old Man Gloom who rises from the Sangre de Christo mountains & must be burned away every fall.
