Other legacy Spyro characters such as the Gnorcs from the 1st game were slated to make an appearance. Additionally, more gender swapped alternate universe versions of classic Crash characters were considered as well including a female version of the Komodo Bros.
While I like the Spyro Reignited trilogy, I'm not overly big on the redesigned Gnorcs. I mean, they're more accurate to the Spyro lore but I personally prefer the the PS1 versions, they were big and cuddly.
