The first three panels actually happen in Super Mario Wonder! In the stage "Maw-Maw Mouthful", you find these little Maw-Maw guys that eat everything they see- including you! The stage's Wonder Flower turns you into a Goomba, and you've gotta stealth around until you can get the Wonder Seed.
