Pink Bell heather coming into bloom. 75% of the world's heather moorland is here in the UK. 60% of that is in Yorkshire. And this is on my doorstep. I don't think I can return to office life, city living or any other civilised crap. This is my happy place.

On the right of the photo we see a clump of pink Bell heather flowers (named so because of their bell-like shape). Another couple of sprigs are blurred in the background. Behind that, a greenscape of grass and scrub.

There's more than one sprig of Bell heather! Here, thousands of flowering plants stretch down a sloping hill into the distance, turning it from green to purple and pink. In the background, green fields and a few cows mooching around in a field.

The spam emails I'm suddenly getting are like 50% lawncare. Do you think I'm going to get baited by lawns, huh? Make it a little easier for my dickhead neighbors to sell their house? A little plot of hyper-curated grass? A sterile, unholy greenscape where nature goes to die? You disgust me.
