It is interesting - more nuanced than all the comments here But I think it underplays the political bind that Labour is in - any suggestion of wanting to reverse 2016 vote in terms of FoM is electorally toxic unless & until those less comfortable Labour heartlands see benefits from Labour in power

I think the issue the Tories will have is that the Brexity part of the country - the east coast, part of Yorkshire will be torn between them and reform The heartlands look lost to them as the Lib Dems have done really well with remainers/farmers/rural stuff
