Honest question, is it better to donate money or supplies? I always worry about corporations like this using these charity drives as a tax write-off. It also seems inefficient.

SUPPLY DRIVE for those impacted by Hurricane Helene by Shurtape in Avon, Ohio - drop off in Hudson 👍
Shurtape's headquarters are in Hickory, NC and they have partnered with various local and national organizations to assist those affected by the devastation caused by Hurricane Helene in Western North Carolina.
This week Shurtape invites anyone to join them in collecting essential items as requested by The United Way of Catawba County, NC.
You can drop off supplies listed below at my home, [address redacted] on our front porch. I work at Shurtape and will be driving to Avon this Wednesday and Thursday, Oct. 9 and 10.
