I just saw a TV commercial for Cascade dishwasher tabs that they’re promoting that you run every night no matter the load. Come on! #waste#hyperconsumption#overconsumtion#climate

no amount of modern hyperconsumption can produce a sensory satisfaction equal to that sort of carpet

This would send our hyperconsumption into the stratosphere… accelerating the rate at which we are disassembling the biosphere.

News flash - people have always travelled, the hyperconsumption of jet travel isn't a mandatory part of that. Also, many ppl like alcohol and sex, but competent adults know that limits & discipline bring freedom.

Unfortunately at the risk of my popularity I'm feeling the need to get outspoken about hyperconsumption. I will listen to your perspective, but my opposing position will be: you have microplastic in your arteries🫀

Jokes aside. I think digital social networking and media hyperconsumption is falling out of fashion recently with the enshittification of services and them becoming less accessible. It is already late, but i feel that in 5 to 8 years everyone will come around and organize in person.
