Rebecca Campbell (1965, UK) has developed a highly imaginative pictorial language, taking influences from Indian Mughal miniatures, Persian textiles and medieval tapestries. The subjects of her paintings are brought to life by intense use of colour, delicate workmanship and strong sense of design.

It might be worth noting that it isn't really an effigy mound. It's two short, linear mounds that happen to overlap, leading some imaginative people a hundred years ago to see it as a 'serpent' effigy - because the US had a Serpent Mound, Canada had to have one too.

Me: who would play me in a movie? Cousin JG plays me in all of them. He’s my code. 👩🏻‍💻 That’s how I decode myself. Watch his movies. 🎥 I’m so dumb 🤣🤣🤣

Trains were the primary means of mass transit in the USA, so they inevitably were featured in films but filmmakers were too imaginative to use the same trope repeatedly And other technology was popular. e.g. The Grand Guignol-inspired "telephone for help, there's a killer in the house!" plot device

I liked ROMULUS better than you did, but I also left the theatre feeling like, "Maybe there's not actually that much that can be mined from this concept in film format." I've read Dark Horse ALIENS comics that were more imaginative and creative with the themes than any of the films since the 1980s.

my kid’s imaginative play reflects his real life experiences which is why today he’s playing “the parking lot is full at the pacifica taco bell”
