I have a lot of confidence in my skills, usually, when I'm actually doing my job... But interviews bring out the worst imposter syndrome in me

Reading this helped me a bit about some trans imposter syndrome I get. I sometimes wonder if I could've been fine staying a man if I was, as you said, loved like a woman, but estradiol made me feel so much better. (I hope this doesn't read like I'm trying to invalidate you because I'm not.)

Thank you for that Marisa! My business partner is also a woman and she often tells me that we need to stop minimizing ourselves. Imposter syndrome, she says, is a type of patriarchical conditioning. I know this, but it's good to hear it, too.

This is going to be a weekend of firsts for me. I'm nervous and excited, but I can also feel my imposter syndrome rearing its ugly head. Need to push through it. If this works, it may be huge for me. Plus I'm taking the kid to see ROCKY HORROR at the River Oaks, and that's going to be insane.

After a panic and heavy dose of imposter syndrome, I've had a think about a way forward with jobs. Stay here for a little while, leaning heavily into Python Django. Then go and do that, or similar, elsewhere. Unless something more appealing comes up.
