My partner and I took our 20 year old niece to Montreal. We all agreed that our favorite part was the Insectarium.
If you're going to the botanical garden, I'd also recommend the insectarium which can be found within! There were renovations two years ago and ever since then their displays are made so artfully, it was a wonderful visit. Also a section with free-flying butterflies!

Went for a walk at lunch in the Jardin Botanique by the #Insectarium de Montreal. Saw a 6 mating pairs of Sympetrum vicinum (automn meadowhawks or yellow legged meadowhawks) laying eggs in the little stream. It was very cool also it's cleerly fall season when these critters are out.
