We had one of these in the 80s. Ot was kever as good as the Kodak instamatic and was soon replaced with my first DSLR (Praktika) but this one felt good to hold!

Random Memories: Back in the early 1980's, most of the photos I shot during my friends and I "recording sessions" for the pretend radio shows we did at the time were with a cheap Kodak Instamatic 110 camera. Back then, my budget was low in EVERY department!

The best thing about the rediscovery of a very ugly Picasso is the vintage Instamatic photograph of it in situ: www.theguardian.com/artanddesign...

TBT - A picture of me and a friend at Six Flags Over Texas. I was 21 years old in 1977. Notice my friends Texas Instrument calculator attached to his belt? Ah the 70's. When everything was gold, brown and avocado. Taken with a Kodak Instamatic camera.

There are times I still choose a tiny, light, pocketable point and shoot camera. This was one of those times! I have a feeling many of us started with a camera like that. The first one I ever used is shown below. 🙂

Kodak Instamatic X-15 camera. This is the first camera I ever remember using as a child.
