60.000 km han durado los Peugeot 208. Una flota de 14 coches y han caído TODOS. Embragues, cajas de cambio, culatas, Intercooler, radiadores... 9 o 10 de ellos con cambio de motor completo. Un auténtico desastre.

Opel update: Waiting for new front crash bar, as the OE one is very cut up by previous owner to fit the Saab intercooler. Now, with the new aftermarket IC, I should be able to fit an uncut bar, hopefully. Then I can start driving the car again.

Growing up my dad had an early 930 Carrera. No intercooler and a basic recirculation system, basically raw dogging that boost. Those cars actually scored unreasonable high on the fuck around and find out scale.
I don't know how true this is, but I also remember at launch comment that Saab's redesign of the bonnet and scoop actually made the top-mount intercooler more efficient. Certainly feasible, only Saab would look at something Japanese and say "hmm, I reckon we could improve this".
