So my boss recently decided to update our employee handbook and there is something weird. I am a salaried, non-exempt employee so I'm supposed to get a set rate of py for 40hrs weekly. Here's some screens, 1st is my boss- is this legal?. #FLSA#SalariedNonExempt#isthislegal#HRhelp#PayrollHelp

Email snippet from my boss explaining how my salary is null on days the company is closed and if I don't work a full day even though it was an agreed upon amount. I am classified salaried, non-exempt.
A snippet from an HR salary website stating that a salaried employee is paid a fixed salary regardless of the hours worked to fulfill their job responsibilities, in direct contradiction to what my original hire agreement was, as salaried, non-exempt.
