And how often each of those possible different decays can happen we can calculate with the standard model formula. Interestingly, if we modify the formula and add extra particles or interactions, the Kaon probabilities change.

The NA62 experiment uses one of the CERN accelerators as a Kaon factory. That means: they study millions of Kaons. Unimaginably many Kaons. And because of the nature of quantum physics, there are many ways those unstable Kaons can decay(=transition) into other particles....
