i am reflecting on this information

tilda swinton in _caravaggio_ (1986) // knave girl // gay girl // dirt // blush // light // mirror

I consider that limitation to be essentially a genetic fallacy. Words change meaning or fall into desuetude. "Specious," "nice," "slut," "knave": all words whose meaning has changed over the years. No need to stand like King Canute, commanding the earless tide.

I could never work out the two separate notebooks trick, so now mine go right in my regular journal. When it's time to start a new one I go thru & tab those I want to easily return to. (This took years of evolution--you'll find your own best fit!)

An image from my journal which is currently in an 11 x 14 mixed media canson notebook. This page has a watercolor painting in shades of gold orange and red at the top third, some antique looking washi tape, and a couple of stickers (mushroom and biplane) on a field of brown kraft paper. There's a little mini printer photo of a six card Tarot spread at right, and my handwriting with a few paragraphs of journaling where I am meditating on the cards from the Tarot Cats and Playing Marseille decks. The 3 Cats cards are 8 Wands, King Cups, and Knave Wands reversed. Underneath, the Marseille are the King Wands, Death, and Knight Swords.
