Different strokes, I guess. I grew up on MAD & National Lampoon, Monty Python, SNL, SCTV and Eugene Ionesco. Life is too important to be taken seriously.

A color portrait of American actor Chevy Chase, pictured here at the height of his commercial popularity following the National Lampoon Vacation movies. Chase’s career hit a low point shortly afterward, including several flops and the short-lived Chevy Chase talk show on late night TV. It was during this time that Chase began studying hermetic philosophy with particular attention to Paracelsus’s 16th century treatise, Astronomia magna. Paracelsus prefigured modern notions of astral projection, writing that “my spirit, without the help of my body, and through an ardent will alone, and without a sword, can stab and wound others. It is possible that I can bring the spirit of my adversary into an image and then fold him up or lame him at my pleasure.” Chase underlined this passage—no matter it was a rare first edition manuscript—several times, scribbling a note in the margin that read simply, “Murray.”

Well, we don't know what to lampoon him for. Just these past days it was "dancing king", orange make up failure and now this. It would be funny, if his fascism wasn't so scary.

The best part of that issue is that the publisher used the National Lampoon parody of DC's Deadman to kick off the ongoing Deadman reprints.
