CRTs don't have native is the thing. They have a max and anything up to that they'll display perfectly, whereas on an LCD anything below the one res they do will be ugly and awful. So on the CRT I can use lower resolutions and crank everything else and still look good

But the point of the 4K seems to be to reproduce the intended, original CRT look on an LCD. The only other good way to get that right now is a real N64 and a $1000 retrotink 4k, isn’t it?
