I've never played any! Though Lichemaster is tempting as the The Defenders of Frugelhofen look fun to collect and paint.
Oh yeah, Lichemaster and Orc's Drift are like that too, several small skirmish games whose outcomes effect the big climactic battle at the end. Provides a nice variety, very fashionable at the time!
For the Oldhammer event Bring Out Your Lead this summer I am adapting the wfb 2nd edition scenario Terror of the Lichemaster for 40k replacing villagers with ratlings and Undead with genestealers. Undersized kryomek scenery is perfect for futuristic hobbit holes.
A little Warhammer fantasy battle Undead Vs Slann, using Warhammer Renaissance rules...close, but think my 11 year old Lichemaster son has me beaten 🙂
