My watch list is now full obscure films which are unlikely to come on Netflix. Fortunately I did all my serious watching during the Lovefilm era when you could order almost any DVD. I worked my way through several iMDB lists back then

Right. Sense and sensibility. When I tried to watch this the first time years ago, the dvd got about 20 minutes into it and started skipping. I can't remember whether it was a lovefilm or cinemaparadiso rental but when I sent it back they didn't have any other copies to send me.
When Amazon ditched Lovefilm rentals by post, my last two Blu-rays were deliberately the most expensive films to buy at the time - I never returned them, never watched them either, sat in a cupboard somewhere. A silent protest in corporate greed, buying a firm to shut it down.
