(lol, condolences for the tambrahmness part). The Gita is considered a later addition to the core text. And reading Ambedkar's Riddles of Hinduism is a good way to begin to critique it. Getting into the Mahabharat characters without the Krishna deification really shows how fucked up everyone was imo
You would just need to read a little about Mahabharat to understand the character reference.
