Like later on he was referred to as M Terry, and others were also referred to as Makuta up until the very end.
I do think it was interesting how Makuta a) was actually the name for an entire species/organization and not just the one character we knew about(Terry) and b) was the only set that looked nothing like the movie it was cross promoted with.
