Miuda basic lore! My beloved tarnished for my RL1 run! | #RL1#tarnishedOC#EldenRingOC#Miuda |

Part 1 of the character's lore with her displayed on the left, text on the right and title on top. Miuda. She is a third sibling of Malenia and Miquella, born cursed with the Void inside her. She was born intertwined with an Outer God that is also an OC, the Empty Lady, which is the Outer God of Void and the Nothing (she's essentially a black hole). This Outer God is also called the Lady of Nothing and the Goddess in Shadow. The power of this Goddess is what Marika used to develop the Irises of Occultation. Miuda's left eye, behind which the Empty Lady hid after her birth, is in fact an Iris of Occultation. When they were children, Miuda found out she was unable to use the power of the runes, as every runes she acquired were absorbed and turned into nothing by the Goddess in Shadow. Desperate to be useful, she tried to use the Emptiness inside her to cure Miquella's curse. As it obvious for the wounds around her dark eye, this attempt was not only not successful, but she absorbed and turned into nothing several servants of the Golden Lineage and also got partly cursed by this nascency, now completely unable to ever grow and improve (unable to level up, even with external help such as Melina's).

After this event, realizing the power of the Lady of Nothing was too dangerous for the Lands Between, maybe even worse than Destined Death, Marika got two birds with one stone and sent Miuda to the Land of Shadow, using the shadowy energy of this Outer God to completely separate and cloak the region from the rest of the world. Miuda spent years alone, both she and Messmer with instructions to never meet up, until she found Count Ymir, who adopted her as a kind mother. Along with Ymir, they studied the stars and learned about the skies, even if she would never be able to use that knowledge as a sorcerer. After the Shattering, Miuda learns about Miquella's plans in her Realm, and, unaware of everything else that's going on at the Lands Between, she embarks on a journey back to the mainland, set to find Malenia and ask her for her help to stop their brother.
Part 3 of the character's lore with her displayed on the left, text on the right and title on top. Miuda. The Empry Lady and the Abyssal Serpent. The Abyssal Serpent that slumbers inside Messmer was an envoy of the Empty Lady when she was a recently born Outer God, seeking to know, scout and, yet unaware of it but too, devour. Devour everything. Marika found the serpent when Messmer was still her most deadly weapon, and she found she could use the shadowy power of this serpent to hide away her secrets. She commanded Messmer to face and seal the serpent inside him, and so he did, empowering him and granting them with the power of Shadow. They were late, though, to realize the Abyssal Serpent had offspring, one of the surviving and reaching the Lands Between, being what we know as Eiglay, the God-Devouring serpent. When Miuda was born, Marika was afraid of what could happen if the Empty Lady, probably feeling vengeful after what Marika did to her envoy, mixed with the Abyssal Serpent, so she completely forbid them from ever meeting.

It's a direct reference to that sculpture, but in this case it's fanart of Elden Ring, with Marika holding Messmer instead. It's cool that you noticed the resemblance!
