I have precisely two types of things I collect: dice sets and lego Star Wars Microfighters. For Father’s Day my kids expanded both collections.
Honestly for real, I'd reccomend a 10-20 dollar kit that has like 200 pieces or so, like the cars or bulldozers from Technic, or the Creator 3 in 1s, as a way to destress. Even the microfighters help. Just sit down and do it in 1 sitting, and it's a completable task that looks great.
