one thought i've repeatedly had is it's very easy to imagine how people get to "trepanation" as a solution or "you have ghosts and demons in your head" as a diagnosis when you think about cluster migraines and sinus headaches in an era where you really have no idea to figure any of that shit out
so much fun I brought up my inhaler with my doc my last appointment but we didn't really talk about it. it'll be my main concern next appointment i wonder if it's the weather. it's never effected me like this before. usually I just get migraines and malaise.
Laying in a tent rn w/allergy induced migraines but the sound of all the peepers & crickets in the cool air has healed a part of my soul like what a balm
I cannot wait to start the treatment for these migraines as it has been just awful. I don't know what the future leaves for me with this though. I don't want to dwell on it too much
True! The only problem is when sick = migraines. Watching anything has to wait...
A constant onslaught of neuralgia broken up by brain-melting breakthrough migraines has definitely not shrunk my world to about the size of my desk because I can afford to ord- oh, what's that? ...what do you mean they haven't paid and all our accounts are overdrafted? forget what I was saying.
it's one of the reasons i'm afraid to ever start driving. bright lights can trigger my ocular migraines! regular headlights don't but the LED ones can and do, and that leads to my vision being impaired for 20-30 minutes 🫠
I get painful headaches and even nausea inducing migraines from reading text on light backgrounds. Alt text obeys dark mode settings, allowing me to read the text content of screenshots which would otherwise trigger that reaction.
