Yeah, this is just awful news to hear. Thinking about morbidity at this age is awful.
Some may think that depictions like this are hyperbolic or using morbidity to appeal to persuasion. But the corporations practice it. Here's one example. www.grandvoyageitaly.com/history/anci...
Yup exactly this, theres a tonne of good tangible public health we can do on prevention and lessening morbidity. No quick fixes
This is mostly about deaths, but vaccines prevent morbidity too, many have forgotten the impact of these diseases My mother got polio in her thirties, it destroyed the nerves controlling her balance muscles. She had to relearn to walk as an adult, if she'd been vaccinated it wouldn't have happened.
Vaccines are one of humanity's greatest achievements, "the most universal innovation that we have across humankind" & have saved more than 154 million lives. 🧪 Great graphics from @christiansenjen.bsky.social and inspiring story from @tarahaelle.bsky.social www.scientificamerican.com/article/see-...
Vaccines are the first step toward health equity in many parts of the world
theese are so whimsical and cute with only a slight hint of underlying morbidity!
