We were gifted a tiny little kōwhai sapling from our old neighbour's garden when we moved to Motueka 4 1/2 years ago. It was to keep us connected to and remind us of our time in Ruby Bay. It has flowered for the first time. 🇳🇿🌱

So, you think the entire town of Motueka can just up sticks and move to this incredible mystery future-proof city? These aren't real plans for real people.

Richmond weirdly is part of Nelson in the general election. Not sure where the boundary is but Rachel is our MP. Motueka and Takaka are part of West Coast/Tasman though.

Although, to be fair, that electorate (West Coast - Tasman) does include the somewhat conservative, but resourced Tasman/Richmond area, who will be able to access publicly-funded healthcare via Nelson/Richmond/Motueka. It's just the Coasters who've slashed their own throats.
