Well. Turns out my eyes have gotten... better? My nearsightedness has changed at least, such that I need new, LESS powerful glasses. That explains all the fucking eye-strain I've had lately at least lol, I guess I'm wearing glasses that are just too strong.
I had a jarring realization when I figured out that health care is meant to handle getting you back to work. Someone released nearsightedness eyedrops that work for 8 hours. Just enough to get you through the day.
My vision is mostly fine but I have mild astigmatism and nearsightedness, and getting glasses helped a lot with this. It's not totally gone but I can see so much better when driving at night (important since I work 2nd shift) and feel like I can genuinely judge distance of oncoming traffic better.
