One interesting work from home note: the Office Depot downtown closed, but the one on the commercial stretch of my largely residential neighborhood is doing great

Let's not get confident. As a campaign volunteeer, I'm working hard every day to make sure my swing state stays in the blue camp. That said, two different people picking up yard signs today said "Last election there were Trump signs all over the place (in my neighborhood); now, hardly any."

I live in the neighborhood where the Windy City Rehab scam lady operates and it is so bad. So, so bad. You can instantly pick out her janky ass "rehabs"

Elliott has been so good at neighborhood watch that he’s now official security guard of the front yard.

I've been radicalized by Waymo. I went from intentionally sabotaging all the Cruise cars that were recklessly testing in my neighborhood and constantly almost killing me and my dogs, to being extremely impressed by how safe the Waymos are. (1/2)

Overheard at a neighborhood gathering: A (mid-20's): I moved back in w/ the parents last year to save some money B (older): how much are apartments renting for these days? A: About $2200/month B: Wow. hate to say but my first apartment was only $350/month A: HOW MANY DECADES AGO WAS THAT?

You can go hang out with my neighbor on his stoop. He's retired and sits out there all the time drinking and smoking and chatting with every person who walks by. He's a good person if you need to anything that's going on in the neighborhood. He's on it.
