Good morning! And 35 years ago today... Genesis does what Nintendon't! Yep, It's the 35th anniversary of the release of the Sega Genesis in North America. After failing to storm the North American VG market with Master System, SEGA was back-back-back for a second try with 16-bit power!

The first part of it’s obvious, but the number is my jersey number, which I got from sportstalk host Scott Ferrall, who worked in SF at the time. I needed a number for Create-A-Player in NHL96 for the Genesis and his obsession with it stuck in my head. Used it ever since.
