I follow some good soup recipes (including the Sweetcorn Chowder that Nigella Lawson posted on BlueSky this morning) but I haven't found that one that, with a tweak or two, will become my great soup recipe. I'm closer with curries (from Madhur Jaffrey recipes).
I like the comment of using french onion soup mix instead of vegetable stock. Sounds delicious. Added to my list, thanks Nigella.
Another reason to be here is that the delightful @nigella.bsky.social is here too! I once neerly met Nigella, but i was ill and couldnt attend the book signing, my friend who owned the bookshop asked her to sign a copy for me, which she did with a personal message. Ive been a super fan ever since!
This is such an excellent recipe. Thank you, Nigella.
One of my faves from Nigella Express - which is a book everyone needs!

Unpopular opinion and Iâll lose followers after this post. Nigella Lawson? I cannot abide her. Fake, false and condescending. Ps. Donât get me started on Lorraine Kelly.
Oooo, this is a good one. I just pulled up a video of Nigella preparing this recipe, to check the technique for warming the yogurt. Whole endeavor looks quite easy. And delish! đPinning for a brunch in my near future!

If I hadnât eaten the Turkish eggs at Peter Gordonâs restaurant, The Providores, I most certainly wouldnât be tempted by the idea of poached eggs on Greek yogurt. I say that only to pre-empt any hesit...
I think Nigella Lawson has that in her background as well.
