Or FEMA, NOAA, NTSB, CDC... I guess I'm trying to figure out if this is a leadership decision thing.

He's desperate to win & resorting to fear & intimidation tactics. The billionaires want to be rid of social security, Medicare, medicaid, Dept of Educ, NOAA, FDIC, Nat'l Weather Service, Federal Flood Insur, etc. There will be no govt to support with taxes. Accu Weather will charge 4 forecasts, etc

Meanwhile, Hurricane Kirk is expected to make landfall this week in... Nantes? Very normal stuff, nothing to worry about, I'm sure. www.nhc.noaa.gov/graphics_at2...

NHC NOAA graphic depicting the forecast cone of Hurricane Kirk. It projects landfall on the coast of France at 2PM Wednesday.

Storm Update: Milton has become a Cat 1 Hurricane moving E and around 7mph. Still expected to be a Cat 3 when making landfall (the eye) in Tampa on Wednesday. The cone has shrunk a little now removing the bend. *I try to update after NOAA has posted their updates. Next update around 11:30pm.

It's hard to see the dorsal side and think "snail" because the only coils are in fact on the inside, a 'body whorl' that encloses the organism's soft organs. Note the respiratory pores on this green abalone (Haliotis fulgens). The second picture is the foot-side up in a Sydney seafood market.

NOAA fisheries image of a green abalone
A univalve mollusc with a flat, smooth, pale, oval shell, containing a large muscular foot with a bright green frill or lip.

It’s found along Australia’s southern coast, off Victoria, South Australia, northern Tasmania and Western Australia.

The most common aquaculture Abalone species, it’s farmed mainly in South Australia, (although Victoria and Tasmania have some farms) and is often harvested at 3 years of age and sold as ‘cocktail’ Abalone.
