Dimension 20: Misfits and Magic Wanted to finish this one after NSBU (oops that'll be next), so I could watch the new season, and it was PEAM. Even though it was short, it was very sweet. Fulfilling storytelling and characters :)
I need to finish at least all the IH seasons and I need to get back to NSBU, but it was too much chaos for me at the time. Have you watched the first episode of MisMag 2?

Similarly, I tried watching Critical Role a couple of times and never could get into it. But Dimension 20's Fantasy High hooked me. Also loved NSBU.
NSBU is the most That of any of the seasons, by a large chunk. A lot of the other seasons are still amazing! I'd suggest: A Court of Fey and Flowers Fantasy High (you can skip to the newest, Junior Year, if you want) The Seven Escape From Blood Keep Mentopolis
NSBU is by far the most unhinged season. My favorite season is probably burrows end which is their take on redwall/secret of Nimh. Id recommend it to any furry. If you want more chaos fantasy high and starstruck Odyssey are hilarious
My favourite was A Court of Fey and Flowers, followed by A Crown of Candy (including the Ravening War). Mentopolis was solid too... They're just generally good, heh. They mix it up wrt the tone and wackiness levels depending, certainly NSBU has been the most manic.
