Absolutely. I bought the expanded rules ($5) on DriveThru; whenever the rules are updated I can just yoink a new copy down from there. The biggest stumbling block is when my 40k friends bring across their armies, but still want to use special abilities that the OPR versions don't have.
Yup! Been playing 40k since Rogue Trader days, but the games take TOO LONG for someone with Responsibilities™. OPR takes about half as long! Plus the Army Builder lets me experiment with custom or redacted units - great for kitbashing fans.
Wow! Very cool. A friend of mine uses Kroot & Vespid for a OPR kill team too, they seem a lot of fun! (Especially the hounds!)
