Yeah the texts are usually: power goes out 1-3 hours later, PG&E texts there is an outage

For extra reference, Asheville NC which is a medium red power outage is 417k (metro).

A prolonged outage at NCEI (e.g. more than a week or so) is going to have an operational impact on our climate monitoring data products.

That section of Florida is also really sparsely populated. Gainesville (light orange zone power outage) with 350k people and Tallahassee (yellow zone power outage) with 390k (metro) are on either side of the dark red power outage path.
