bonus art tip: Are you pressed for time due to work and can't find any time to draw? Buy a pack of 3" x5" sticky note pads, grab a pen/pencil, and take it with you onto the toilet. Sketch. It doesn't have to be good- this is about keeping the spark alive.
But are you saying you wore pads through the scanner? I may try that next time. Or just leave them in a checked bag.
Buy some salicylic acid pads and give the area a scrub twice daily. Sometimes it makes no difference, sometimes it kills the breakput entirely. Better than nothing!

V/H/S/Beyond: A mixed bag, as usual. More than usual, the framing story is unnecessary and just pads the runtime. I see we've given up on the "VHS" aspect, too. But I loved a couple of the segments (dog lady; skydiving), liked the others well enough.
