15) PARANORMASIGHT: The Seven Mysteries of Honjo With spooky season upon us, I cannot recommended a better visual novel than PARANORMASIGHT. It's the best game Square Enix put out last year and proof that tight directing and a clear vision are always better than a wide scope and big budget.

Started playing PARANORMASIGHT: The Seven Mysteries of Honjo this weekend for spooky season & it's been a lot of creepy fun! The story has me (and the folks I'm streaming it for) hooked & we're constantly crafting theories as the game goes on. Good fun, definitely recommend!

5. Kamen Gensou Satsujin Jiken Mobile adventure game and first in the Ryosuke Kibukawa series. Not the first adventure game about a murder in the game's industry, but maybe the best? Made by the dude who did Paranormasight, it's twisty, clever, and has a barely contained anger bubbling.
