Fairburn was many things and I have full biography on his life and art which included poetry. The poetry in my view was like his calling card and gave him a way to "cash the cheque" but he was a boat builder, artist and specialist printer too. I have been thinking about pathfinders of NZ.

The Necron Warrior models are only metal and have different shapes and curves in their armor, whereas the Pathfinders have both armor and cloth that could be done in different shades of green or in contrasts.

I used some old, primed Necron models as testbeds for the color scheme I want to do for my T'au Pathfinders kill team. I have the main green mix down but I'll need to start on one of the Pathfinder models to determine the accent colors since those models are so different.

There are still quite a bit of good pieces left on the Pathfinders sprue if I ever need them for other conversions too

Everything assembled and ready to prime tomorrow. 17 models built between the Pathfinders kill team box and the conversions I did with the secondhand Imperial Guard command unit and the free kroot model. Magnetized the standard drones so I can interchange their payload modules too.

This is so bizarre to me. I met my wife via Dating Direct in 2007. At that point it was NOT cool to confess that's how we'd met. Next, we then had friends who met that way (and married and had kids) and it became acceptable and we were even seen as 'pathfinders'. So now it's not really even a thing?

13 Pathfinders (t'au, human, and kroot) and still enough parts to build one more. Then the drones after that. With the new Kill Team edition regular troopers are actually useful so I built 2, 1 human and 1 t'au. I can build one more gunner, so I can have 2 ion rifles, 2 rail rifles, 1 each.
