Did you know October is ADHD awarness month? Have an oldy but a goody! A comic about my experiences with ADHD in the workplace.

1st panel: I'm floating in a blank space with objects ranging from papers,pens, a cat etc all around floating next to me. I say the following "i need to get started on that....oh,can't wait to play that game....how about...." 2nd panel: I'm look down from the mind void space to a floating office meeting room, I'm looking over my shoulder. "Uh oh, I'm supposed to be in that meeting!!" 3rd panel: has me making swimming motions trying to get to an empty seat in the room, I'm having difficulty. 4tg panel: I'm grab the back of the chair with force, sweat marks on my face.
1st panel: I'm having a hard time keeping seated in the chair as I float upwards. "It's so hard to stay here." 2nd panel: I'm reach for a pen with more effort."If I could just... 3rd panel: You can see blurred words in the bg of the panel from the speaker of the work meeting. the words from the speaker start to become more clear the more I start to doodle on paper. 4th panel: the speaker continues on the work meeting saying various stats and statistics. I'm sitting in between two coworkers, i look happy as I think to myself. "There we go!"
1st panel: the left side of the panel has me listening and drawing as the speaker speaks. The right side has me frowning as I lisf my head as the speaker addresses the room. "Excuse me everyone, I'm going to need you all to start paying attention. Look up please." They say 2nd panel: I'm staring at my pen. "This is important" the speaker says. 3rd panel: I'm place the pen down on the desk with a "tak".
4th panel i am floating in a dark void looking up at a transparent meeting room, unable to participate.

#inktober#inktober2024 day 8: "hike" (pens, pencils, markers) Shadows are hard. Thank goodness I have the "safety" of being mediocre at perspective. Also, footballs are yellow now. Deal with it.

Perhaps I'll try that and see what happens. I'll have to do a thorough cleaning as I was inexperienced with fountain pens when I got it.

#inktober#inktober2024 day (7): "passport" (pens, pencils, markers) I initially passed on doing this yesterday but felt guilty and decided to give it a shot.

A border at sunrise or sunset looking at a mountain range. Barbed wire and a "No Trespassing" sign. Power lines crossing in the horizon.
