Depuis aussi longtemps que je fréquente internet (PhpBB, on t'a pas oublié), il y a (trop) de gens qui « oublient » qu'il y a des humains aussi réels qu'eux-mêmes à l'autre bout de l'écran. Je ne m'y ferai jamais. Merci pour ce rappel à l'évidence…

Those old phpbb and vbulletin boards were just smaller and it was a little easier to moderate like a house party instead of a million-person morass

Is it me or, in terms of social networks, we're in that time where we still had phpBB forums but you knew that those posts are slowing down and they're not updating and it's just a matter of time until it just... stops. Social networks are in their dying phase is all I'm saying.

And phpBB, Disqus and the like are still going strong on thousands of special interest sites moderated by retirees around the world...

Jag är med i ett per discords där vi verkligen inte behövde gå ifrån vanliga phpbb-forum.

BBS, MirC, ICQ, MSN, Orkut, PHPbb, Twitter, X... Tantas redes sociais nasceram e morreram, só migrar pra próxima. Pelo menos hoje em dia tem como fazer isso sem ser de sopetão.
