almost every single time my step mom makes a post about me she uses this picture, which got posted in one of the Navy's magazines when I was on deployment, over a decade ago I don't know if its she doesn't have a more recent picture or because its really the only thing I've done that she is proud of

this picture is taken from my 2009-2010 deployment because I am a brown shirt, which means I was involved in preping and bedding the birds. There was a journalist on board, and as I was hanging the 10-12 pound chains (that i would carry up to 12 at a time) that help hold a bird down, they asked to take my picture, i said sure, no idea and didn't really care. I was doing my job and ANY break for any amount of time was welcome, i think this took all of 2 minutes to snap the photo and take my info. The picture is tilted, which makes me happy, you can see several chains hanging from a bar and its clear that I am adding more with some hanging from my arm. Behind me there is two green shirts, which could be several different rates who do maintance on the birds. My PO3 is VERY clearly seen, i made AT3 the first time I took the test. I never made e5, i joined as an e3, made e4 super quick and spent the next 5 years as an e4, though i did jobs that e5 and e6s were suppose to do.
