I had an ensuite shower for my last years (postgrad perks). Mostly ones that encapsulated you like a pod, which I did not love. We should invent something like this for people aged 60+ and have something to look forward to as we decay.

2) My IR reading list is pretty stacked from my postgrad days, but my American Government material is lacking... and sadly internet searches now for "essential books for understanding XYZ" return a lot of AI slop listicles... So any Am Government book recommendations are greatly appreciated!

The thing is, it IS helpful to connect postgrad students with future careers because not everything you end up doing with a science PhD is obvious...but this is not the right messaging

Third choice? hah. Also insomuch as these messages ARE useful, they need to be directed at *prospective postgrad students* before they commit to study.

Literally find me one (1) postgrad student who thinks that finding a permanent academic job is the only possible success in the year 2024!!!
