CNN's new poll doesn't establish some failsafe alternative to Biden for Democrats. But it does run against the twin ideas that the debate itself doomed Biden and that Harris isn't a viable alternative. www.washingtonpost.com/politics/202...
As always, though, we should be cautious about reading too much into one poll.
This is why I'm making big changes to #PSC211, my election polling course, this fall. There will be more focus on polling literacy/consumption of polling info and, thanks to a Community-Engaged Alliance grant, more effort to share students' classroom learning with the college and local communities
