I saw folks posting trans SFF books, so a reminder my Out of True series is queernorm Arthuriana, and the first 3 protags are an immortal genderfluid butch, a lesbian dragon shifter, and an autistic agender ace knight⚔️ itch.io/c/3558659/ou...#Butchtober also!

Art of Valerin the Fair (she/her) from Rien Gray's book of the same name. She is a very tall, muscular butch knight in leather armor carrying a jagged sword, with wood-textured skin and very short blonde hair. The art was commissioned from Diana_Slippery on Twitter.

It's the last weekend of Sapphic September, so there's only 4 more days until my sapphic knight romantasy books go back to full price! Get three high heat novellas in a queernorm Arthuriana world for only 5 dollars, or buy each book for only 2 dollars each ⚔️ itch.io/s/131167/swo...

Three books by Rien Gray overlaid on top of art of Martis and Valerin, two lesbian knights, fighting with their swords. The art was commissioned from Adam Barker / Satans_Masque.

One interesting difference is the approach to queernorming. The world of Swordcrossed is straight up queernorm; there are trans characters (one of whom we very unnecessarily learn the deadname of) and sexuality is completely prejudice free.

#LGBTQWriteAThon I don’t know enough detail about my setting to pick a favorite other than what’s constant through all my work: it’s queernorm. My other favorite thing are the mechs. They’re smaller than the mobile suits used in space and I think I’ll have fun creating different types.

Happy Bisexual Visibility Month! Not only is every book I write and publish in a queernorm world, but many protags (like Ash!) are bisexual women with men. Being a bi woman with a man does not erase our bisexuality or queerness. We deserve to see ourselves on the page.

Cover of BLOOD PRICE by Nicole Evans with a picture of the author herself, a fat white woman with red and black hair pulled back into a braid, tattoos on her chest and arms, wearing black glasses, a black mask and decorated with purple, blue and pink hearts on her face to celebrate pride. Accented by purple, blue and pink stripes, hearts and a rainbow.
