The Met Office has changed its weather warning for #rdguk today - some areas will see 60-80 mm and a few places may receive 120mm or more. Travel disruption and some flooding is likely. The heavy rain warning is for the whole of today.

IMHO, the best thing @ReadingCouncil can do right now is to suspend this bus lane until a joined up solution can be found, so traffic does not jam opposite Liverpool Road, on Suttons Seeds, the A3290 or Shepherds Hill. #rdguk

Responding to a question by @mrsamakhtar about the problems the lane has caused, Cllr Conway said: “We share your concerns and are working with (#rdguk Borough Council) to see what can be done to improve travel into Reading from Wokingham borough. Our aim is to find a solution.”
